Non-Naturalism

Non-Naturalism fails miserably at explaining truth, reality and knowledge. They say that the world we live in is only an electrical impulse in our brain. One example they used of this was a bird; when we "see" a bird we are only seeing an impulse that was sent to our brains to show us what a bird looks like. If this impulse was cut we would lose sight. Same with hearing; all a bunch of hogwash. Non-Naturalists believe that reality is all in our brains; that we created everything around us, the world, universe, and beyond. They also say that the basically figment of their imagination called physical reality is "Maya" and their god is Atman who is part of some truth somewhere in our minds called the "Brahman." There is no concept of truth because it is all up to you; your conscience and what your brain tells you is reality. Honestly Non-Naturalism doesn't make any sense, and it cannot clearly explain truth, reality or knowledge.

Naturalism and Dialectical Materialism

Naturalism's definition from merrian-webster's dictionary is "a theory denying that an event or object has a supernatural significance; specifically: the doctrine that scientific laws are adequate to account for all phenomena." The same source defines dialectical materialism as "the Marxist theory that maintains the material basis of a reality constantly changing in a dialectical process and the priority of matter over mind." Both worldviews hold the same atheistic view but they are different in many areas. For example, dialectical materialism believes that everything has to have a thesis and an anti-thesis. The two are compared and analyzed and from the two comes the synthesis, and then the synthesis turns into the thesis. It is just an ongoing triangle of a worldview. They look to the constant change in socializing and thesis and antithesis for guidance
On the other hand, naturalism is the opposite. They are evolutionists; believing in the "survival of the fittest" and the beliefs of Charles Darwin.Furthermore, a naturalist believes in Carma. That if you sin, and do something bad or out of line to another person, they will be "punished". This goes even as far as a person being murdered. The family would just say "bad Carma" which is quite sad; even worse that neither believe in God. Ultimately they only look to science and chance for answers.

Naturalism

Naturalism cannot answer the questions of reality, truth and knowledge. Naturalism is a religion that believes that nothing exist outside of the physical world; if you can't touch, taste, smell, see, or hear it, it cannot be real. Problems arise when trying to explain many things in this world to a naturalist. What about our thoughts? what about conscience or feelings? you can't explain any of these things with the five senses. But yet human beings base many of their decisions off of their conscience and feelings everyday. We decide to get up and either be in a good or bad mood, we decide what we are going to do for the day. Thoughts are constantly running through our heads, sometimes not even realizing it.
Naturalism can't explain truth either. Truth isn't something that we can taste, touch, see, smell, or hear. It is something that we have to believe. We have to believe in truth and that it exists. And don't Naturalists have trust that they are right? when they are asked what their world view don't they explain what they believe is true? and what about knowledge? knowledge can't be measured, so how do they know that anyone is smart, or logical?
So many unanswered questions arise in naturalism where Christianity can answer. The reality that we live in is God's reality, He is what our focus should be and what we should believe is absolute truth. Christians should also have the knowledge that God has given to us to grow and learn about Him and His words and the world around us. With God, all questions are answered.

The Need for God

As Christians our need for God never ends. W need him for every aspect of our lives. We need Him for guidance, authority, love, and answers to prayer. He isn't something that can be forgotten or have an end. God is suppose to be our helper in life, our leader down a path that is rocky and hard to find sometimes. He brings us out of darkest places and lifts us up. God cannot ever be un-needed He is always there, rather you realize it or not.  In Isaiah 41:13 Christ say that:
"For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." God will help us thorough all of our problems, we crave Him and should want His help! We should want to need Him because with Him all things are possible. He can do all things and will help those who follow and love Him.

Video Response

If asked to respond to some of the statements that this video made I would ask some questions and make a few points....
One of the points that he made that I would ask was that the "ALL" is indestructible. If we are indestructible why do we die? why do we suffer or get sick? I would ask questions like these in response because if we are truly indestructible then how would they explain why these things happen in our world. It doesn't make sense that we would be like a "superman". As human beings we are susceptible pain and death, we cannot get around it.
He goes on to say that the "ALL" can't be understood. If we can't be understood then how do we know that we are indestructible or that we are even the "ALL" that he claims us to be? We can't know that we require an infinite system in order to exist, because that requires an understanding of ourselves. This is not logical thinking.
Another point that he makes is that a house fly can be the "ALL". How can something as complex and amazing as a human being be the same as a house fly? As humans we can think, feel, have emotions, and most important we have a soul. A fly does not. It is a creature put on earth for a purpose and that purpose has nothing to do with having an "infinite system"; it was created to help humans out, to keep the circle of life going and nothing more. We were created to praise God in everything that we say, do, and think. While flies were created to be food for other animals.
All on all, humans were created to follow Christ and we can never even attempt to be on the same level as God. The animals that He created do have a purpose on earth but after death they do nothing, because they have no soul.
